An eccentric local office joker has today confirmed to The Advocate that he’s eagerly counting down until this evening.

Luke Crowe (29) from our town’s Betoota Plains region explained that he’s ‘fairly excited for the new Aunty Donna TV show, to say the least, woooooo, ahhhhhh, eghhllllkkkkkkkkkk.’

The theatre sports and improv guy known amongst friends for his tendency to randomly make weird noises and set off down conversational tangents with likeminded people at the drop of the hat, said he’s been hanging out for this new show.

Premiering on the public broadcaster tonight, the show is set in a Melbourne Cafe and looks set to feature the comedy trio’s trademark sense of absurdist improv humour.

Popular amongst a a large eclectic group of people that range from theatre nerds, to metal heads, to Queen loving footy players and everything in between – the Donna boys have gone from strength to strength over the years, culminating in their latest show – Aunty Donna’s Coffee Cafe.

“It’s going to be sick,” said Crowe, a man known to put on a performance or two after a couple of drinks.

“I can’t wait haha,” he laughed before spiking his hair up, drooping his tongue out of his mouth and launching into a rendition of a dopey family labrador that wants to be taken for a walk by his theatrically minded colleague a few booths over.

His colleague then dropped a Christmas Pud reference into conversation and they both went into a meltdown repeating the phrase back to each until it open a blackhole and sucked our reporter out of the situation.

More to come.
